F/V Prudence Ferry
Originally commissioned in 1952 to serve the Prudence Island to Bristol, RI passenger and vehicle crossing. Retired in the late 1990s / early 2000s.
Later acquired for use as a floating beer garden that never came to fruition, laying idle for over a decade. Preparation begins late February with targeted deployment by May to one of the State's Deep Water Reef Sites.
Manna Fish Farm Buoy
Manufactured as a heavy-duty automated feeding buoy for open-ocean fish farming pens. Bulk feed was stored and metered directly into offshore aquaculture enclosures.
Purchased for a planned farm off Long Island's East End, but decommissioned due to capacity limitations. Remained idle in Shinnecock Bay for years before donation.
S/V Red Cloud
Dedicated hull undergoing inspection, engine room decontamination assessment, and environmental ballast verification in accordance with DEC specifications.
Represents our ongoing mission to divert robust hulls from scrap graveyards into permanent benthic habitats that enrich marine biodiversity.
Completed Projects Archive
Deployments executed in coordination with state programs, including rock pile drops, clean girder arrays, and historical vessel scuttling sites. Detailed sonar bathymetry and GPS coordinates are continually monitored by our dive partners.
