Four Direct Ways to Financially Support Seafloor Reefs

All monetary gifts are eligible for 501(c)(3) federal and state tax deduction receipts.

1. Cash Donations

We accept cash contributions at official meetings, public waterfront presentations, and beach conservation cleanups.

Tax Receipt: If you require an official 501(c)(3) deduction letter, provide your full legal name and mailing address at the time of giving.

If your firm has surplus clean heavy material, you may be able to donate it as a tax-deductible charitable contribution, subject to NYS DEC Artificial Reef Coordinator inspection:

Pre-Cast Concrete Pipe, manholes, barriers, structures.

Clean Structural Steel Frames, girders, clean water tanks.

Natural Stone & Rock Glacial erratics, clean quarry rip-rap.

Clean Demo Debris Foundations devoid of petroleum/rebar.

Land for Storage & Consolidation: We have urgent need for industrial and waterfront staging parcels on Long Island to store precast concrete and heavy structures while awaiting coordinated barge deployments.

Volunteer & Report Leads

Hands-on involvement is what keeps our society alive. Here is how individuals and marine enthusiasts can actively take part:

Work on Vessel Conversion: Join our technical work crews preparing hulls, stripping outfitting, cleaning bilges, and fabricating water ingress ports.

Fundraising & Grant Writing: Assist with gala events, corporate outreach, educational workshops, and scientific conservation grant applications.

Report Potential Sources: Hear about an upcoming bridge replacement, quarry surplus, or retired ferry? Provide us with contractor names, contacts, and material specifications!
